Kimberley Junior School

PER LABORES AD HONORES

Welcome to
Kimberley Junior School

Who are we

Our school has a long and proud tradition. The girls were formerly part of the Kimberley Girls’ High School before they were separated to form the Belgravia Girls’ Junior School.

The boys were part of the Kimberley Boys’ High School until 1970, when the Kimberley Boys’ Junior School was founded.

On the 18 January 1977 the primary school boys and girls amalgamated and became Kimberley Junior School.

Our Vision

To equip each child with the necessary skills, knowledge and values to ensure a successful future.

Our Mission

Foster a responsible attitude, loyalty, self-discipline, self-control and good manners by instilling the
values of care, diligence, gratitude, honesty, respect and responsibility. To encourage all stakeholders, educators, parents and learners to create an atmosphere which
allows learners to reach their potential holistically.

To ensure best practice through professional and skilled educators, management and governance.

To achieve these goals, we depend upon important partners in the educational process – the parents of the learners. Your love, encouragement and interest in the progress of your child, as well as your involvement in our school activities, are indispensable. We therefore try to maintain very close contact with our parents.
